Today the ILS Sport Commission is pleased to announce that an updated ILS Competition Rulebook for use at the ILS Lifesaving World Championships (LWC 2024) has been published. This new rulebook is effective for all ILS events and ILS Sanctioned events from 1 June 2023.

Later in this month the ILS LWC 2024 Competition Handbook will also be published to confirm what events will take place on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia in August and September 2024. The Competition Registration System for LWC 2024 is expected to open from 28 May 2023.
The ILS Sport Commission would like to thank the ILS Technical and Rules Committee for their extensive work in reviewing, editing and formatting the content of this new version of our Competition Rules.
